I'm late but it's better than never
as you said MAYA, whose fault is not the matter maybe there is no fault at all
but the solution for this girl from my opinion is
1. took her out of the school and let her stay at home not as punishment but they have to tell her because you are not good at school you better learn how to manage a house to prepare yourself to be a GOOD wife in the future
2. put the burden of the chores at home on her shoulder ( let her cook, wash and clean the house) at the same time keep discuss the future of her brothers in faculty and which job will be waiting for them
3. don't look like you are angry with her,and after a while ask her if she is interested in learning something else like a foreign lang or computer lang and see what she will say
I believe that God create us with differences in learning so we shouldn't force the kids to learn if they are not capable to learn, just find out what they are good at and encourage them to study it
