Let Go -2002- http://www3.0zz0.com/2008/08/01/01/918252208.jpg تركت أفريل أسرتها و أصدقاءها و مدينتها الصغيرة لتستقر بمدينة مانهاتن الأمريكية لتوقع على أول ألبوم لها ، إلا انها لم تتفق مع مشغليها آن ذاك حول كلمات الأغاني و الألحان التي اقترحتها ، فقامت بترك مانهاتن و الرحيل الى لوس انجلس حين التقت بالمنتج Clif Magness الذي ساندها ووافق على على الانتاج تريد أفريل ، فأصدرت Complicated الذي عرف نجاح منقطع النظير و الذي لازال لحد الآن من أكبر نجاحاتها و أفضل أغاني singles التي أصدرتها و الذي احتل المرتبة 2 في Billboard 200 بعد شهرين فقط من اصداره ، و بعده مباشرة ألبوم صولو Let Go . إن التميز الذي لاحظه أغلبية النقاد في الألبوم لا يكمن فقط في الموهبة الفريدة التي تمتلكها لافين والمجال الصوتي الذي يتأرجح بين الروك والكونتري، حيث قورنت من ناحية الصوت والتأثير بـ Alanis Morissette و Janis Joplin وعدداً من مغنيات الروك العريقات، وإنما في كونها مجرد مراهقة قادمة من بلدة غير معروفة، وتمكنها من إقتحام المراتب العليا من القوائم العالمية في أول ألبوماتها قد جعلها خصماً موسيقياً لا يستهان به. إلى جانب ذلك، فقد أظهرت صورة مختلفة تماما عن المغنيات الشابات الأخريات، والتي تنص على قبولها كما هي، وقبول صورتها كفتاة مراهقة عادية ذات مقدارا من التمرد والجموح، وهذا النمط الأقرب لموسيقى PUNK يظهر في العديد من أغنياتها في هذا الألبوم، مثل "Complicated"، "Anything But Ordinary" و"Ska8er Boi " UNDER MY SKIN -2004- http://www3.0zz0.com/2008/08/01/01/694702516.jpg في سن 19 أفريل تخرج ثاني ألبوماتها بشهر ماي لسنة 2004 ، و عرف أيضا نجاح باهر و الذي تربع على عرش Billboard 200 خلال شهر فقط من اطلاقه و بيع منه أكثر من 8 ملايين نسخة ... هذا الألبوم كان مغايرا تماما لسابقه، فقد كان اتجه أكثر نحو Alternative Rock و الذي ينميز بطابع الموسيقى المظلمة ، فاختلف النقاد في رأيهم حول هذا الألبوم، فالبعض يعتقد بأن "Under My Skin" يفتقر إلى نشاط لافين والإيقاعات السريعة التي تميزت بها في الألبوم الأول، وفي المقابل، وجده الكثير تقدماً في أسلوب لافين وقدراتها الكتابية ونوعية صوتها، حيث تم اعتباره خطوة هامة نحو مسيرة فنية جديدة . قامت أفريل بتأليف بعض أغاني الألبوم برفقة Chantal Kreviazuk و اشترك في ذلك أيضا Ben Moody مؤسس مجموعة الالترناتيف روك Evanescence . وبعد نجاح ألبوميها معا ، قررت أفريل الخلود الى الراحة بعض الشيء ، فتنوعت أنشطتها بين التمثيل و الأزياء والمشاركة في التظاهرات العالمية مثل احتفالات الألعاب الأولمبية الشتوية بتورينو 2006 . و خلال السنة نفسها تزوجت أفريل بـ Deryck Whibley . Avril Lavigne takes on 7 languages for new single
Last Updated: Saturday, March 10, 2007 | 5:24 PM ET Avril Lavigne fans taken aback by the cheery pop persona featured in her bouncy new single are in for another surprise: the chorus of her track sung in eight different languages. Speaking at a session during Canadian Music Week, Lavigne's manager Terry McBride said that the singer spent hours studying different languages to try to get the various deliveries just right. Aside from English, the chorus to Girlfriend has been recorded in Mandarin and Japanese for her massive Asian fanbase, as well as Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese. "We tried Hindi twice but the diction and the meter of how you sing Hindi versus the western rhythms just didn't match and we just couldn't pull it off," McBride, also the CEO of Nettwerk Music Group, said in an interview on Thursday. Appealing to Asian fans is key with Lavigne's new material. McBride revealed during a Canadian Music Week discussion that the consumption of Lavigne's music in Asia is greater than in all of the Western Hemisphere combined. The largest chunks of Lavigne fans seem to live in Beijing and other Chinese cities, he said. Lavigne is scheduled to release her new album The Best Damn Thing April 17, with a tour set to begin in February 2008. CBC-TV will air Avril Lavigne: Exclusive, a variety special filmed at a Calgary concert and in Los Angeles while she was rehearsing her new material, on April 2. Lavigne's reach will also be extended to the digital realm with a recurring role in a new Manga-inspired online comic entitled Make 5 Wishes. The series, which will be offered online and via cellphones, will feature original songs unavailable elsewhere. Girlfriend is also featured in the new Electronic Arts video game Burnout Dominator. Styled as the anti-Britney Spears, Lavigne shot to fame as a 17-year-old with songs like Complicated and Sk8er Boi that won her a worldwide fanbase. Her 2004 album Under My Skin began an attempt to move out of her angsty teen realm into more mature music. Also, over the past few years, the former punk princess has begun to shed her former skater girl image, including appearing in designer outfits at the Cannes Film Festival and in a spread for Harper's Bazaar. Married to Sum 41 lead singer and fellow Canadian Deryck Whibley last July, Lavigne has recently dabbled in acting, with a voice role in the animated movie Over the Hedge and as part of the cast in Richard Linklater's Fast Food Nation. |

افريل واعجاب المراهقين بموضتها
مغنية الروك الصغيرة «افريل لافين» ذات الأصل الكندي تختلق موضة ملابس تنتشر بين أبناء جيلها دون قصد حيث انه من المعروف بأنها ضد التقليعات الغريبة للملابس ولكن شعبية ملابسها أصبحت ضخمة بين المراهقين ولقد كان ذلك من خلال القميص العادي الذي صورت فيه فيدو كليب «سكيتر بوي» حيث انه يحمل اسم إحدى المدارس «ويلكسبورو المنتري سكول» والمفاجأة هو أن مدير المدرسة تلقى العديد من المكالمات من دول متعددة في إمكانية الحصول على القميص المدرسي الذي ارتدته «افريل» في أغنيتها, الأمر نفسه تكرر في إحدى حفلاتها الحية عندما كانت ترتدي قميصاً قديماً لها وعليه اسم مدرستها القديمة حيث انه القميص الخاص لفريق كرة القدم فبعد الحفل قام أكثر من ألف متجر بطلب هذه النوعية من القمصان التي كانت افريل ترتديها أثناء الحفل الحي إذ انه تم بيع أكثر من 8 آلاف قميص خلال فترة بسيطة والسبب يعود في أن «افريل لافين» ارتدته أثناء حفل غنائي دون التعمد إلى قصد الدعاية… |
