Sometimes I feel

I'll never witness love wrap his arms around me

Sometimes I feel

I'll never hear a laughter from a kind heart

Sometimes I feel

I'll never touch a loving soul

Sometimes I feel

I'll never see the world I want

Sometimes I feel

I'll never smell the scent of fresh air

Sometimes I feel

I'll never possess the life I need

Sometimes I feel

I'll never feel but pain squeeze my heart

But

Other times I know

I'll feel the kind fingers run throw my hair

Other times I Know

I'll have the love I deserve

Other times I know

I'll see the smile in a lovers eyes

Other times I know

I'll feel the soft sand between my toes

Other times I know

I'll have gentle tips wipe my tears

Other times I know

I'll hear the sweet whispers in my ear

Other times I know

I'll feel joy fill my heart

Other times I know

For sure

I'll have them all and more

Cause God will on my side

So, I'm a contradiction

i called it human nature.... only a living heart can see between

the strands of black & white .... i guess that you did well in portraiting

the feeling of grumpy & optimistic
