I just finished reading the De Santis Marriage and wow what a pick Sommanah!!! As we all know Reid books are sought after since most of her books are translated besides her nice touch in writting . However, I found some of her late work little bit boring or worse -too in your face with the sensual bits if you get what I mean - but believe me this De Santis novel is not one of those. Though again there is the blackmail part we all hate in the modern novels, the scope of it would be surprising, as well as the twist in the end of the novel. It just keep you thinking who dump who!! The heroine ya 3ani in first chapter can't help herself and kissed her best-friend prospect husband , becasue she is in love with him. That was so romantic and human it made me weep. When it comes to the hero , he is super super in everything in a hateful way but you come to love him in the end of it. Highly recommend it for Michelle lovers |

Afraa OMG, I just finished reading " The Golden Ring of Betrayal " and it's a lovely plot, I usually don't like it much when the charcters are married from the begining but this one is an exception. Only an author like Reid can make a scene with a pebble so touching and heart-breaking. I love her ending , you would think she wrote it first and then wrote the rest the story because it was so wrapped up and neat not to mention utterly romantic. Love your choice Afraa , good shot with the story. As to emule , I tried it but it was horrible , and you really moved higher in my estimations because you can manage that mess |

I felt sad rema because when the herione was suppose to meet the hero who admired her from afar in that party, she ended up in a sordid scandal instead. It is sad what people do to save face . Besides what the hero's sister did in a moment of anger was unforgevable because she knew her husband was a player anyway You are right , I am a suker for happy endings and hate it when gets rough. But that's life we have our share of both. I must be sad the day I read the story that's probably why it was reflected in my opinion |
