نبذة عن الكاتبة

ماكسين سوليفان كاتبة استراليه.

عندما تتكلم ماكسين سوليفان عن موهبتها ككاتبة تقول أنها تقريباً تلوم والدتها على كل ما وصلت إليه. أن لم تكن والدتها قارئة نهمة للروايات الرومانسية, عندها ما كانت وقعت هى نفسها فى حب الروايات الرومانسية. و ما كانت اكتشفت أنها تملك موهبة كتابة الروايات و قررت المضى فى هذا الطريق. و هى تشكر والدتها التى كانت السبب فى اكتشافها لموهبتها.

بالطبع, هل لم تعتقد أبداً أنها ستقاوم لمدة عشرون عاماً حتى ترى أول رواياتها مطبوعة.

ربما هى لما تحاول حتى , لكنها تظن أنها ما زال تملك أحلام لتحققها. هى ترى أن الروايات الرومانسية تلقى الضوء على التأكيدات الرائعة عن الحب و العلاقات . و لا تستطيع سوليفان تخيل عدم مشاركة روايتها مع الآخرين.

حالياً تعيش ماكسين فى ملبورن - استراليا, لكن على مر السنين سافرت إلى نيوزيلندا, المملكة المتحدة. و الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية. متزوجة من جيف, و الذى تقول عنه أنه أثبت مواقفه البطولية العديدة على مر السنين. لديهما ولدان وسيمان و مجموعة متنوعة من حيوانات الضالة التى تسعد بالاهتمام بها ورعايتها. عمل زوجها مضمون فى فناء منزلهما الخلفى.
أنهم أثناء تنقلاتهم بين البلدان رأوا تنوع الريف بين المناطق المدارية إلى المناطق النائية, أهل البلدات الريفية إلى أهل المدن. كان هذا المحيط بيئة ملائمة جداً لظهور أول مخطوطتها
يعتبر السادس و العشرون من يناير عام 2006 يوم حاسم فى حياة ماكسين سوليفان حيث بُيعت أول رواياتها التى كانت باسم "أستراليا يوم فى بلدتى."
منذ هذا اليوم نُشر لها اثنى عشر رواية بيع منها حوالى مليون ونصف نسخة حول العالم ترجمة إلى 17 لغة . لـ ماكسين سولفان العديد من القصص القصيرة التى نُشرت فى مجلات استرالية
تسعد ماكسين دائماً بالتواصل مع قراءها . و هى سعيدة جداً بإقامتها فى ملبورن حتى وقتاً هذا.
